Ontario Volkswagen Shoppers Move Fast For The 2019 VW Jetta
The 2019 Volkswagen Jetta is a compact sedan that’s a favorite among Ontario Volkswagen shoppers, thanks to its spacious and quiet interior. There’s so much room inside the Jetta that buyers will get more interior space than some midsize sedans. Of course, you can’t overlook Volkwagen’s reputation for dependability and the brand’s exceptional warranty.
According to the VW dealer near Ontario, Volkswagen redesigned the Jetta from the ground up for 2019. The Jetta is now bigger than last year’s model and it gets a longer wheelbase. The styling is more upscale, with a bigger grille and a bolder posture that will turn heads when driving on the road. There’s even greater comfort in the front seat, with more room to relax.
The Volkswagen Jetta comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The lower trim levels get a 6.5-inch infotainment display, while the others get a standard 8-inch touchscreen. The upper trims also get Volkswagen’s Digital Cockpit, a customizable digital gauge cluster. Most trim levels get driver-assist technology, including forward collision mitigation and blind-spot monitoring. There are two new trim levels this year: R-Line and SEL Premium.
Automotive Press Praise
The automotive press gives the 2019 Volkswagen Jetta high marks, with Consumer Reports writing: “Clearly, the new Jetta is no longer a budget sports sedan. Instead, it's an easy-going car that piles on the room, comfort, ease of use, modern connectivity, and upscale features."
The 2019 Volkswagen Jetta is designed to seat five passengers. Buyers can choose one of five models, listed as S, SE, R-Line, SEL and SEL Premium. Under the hood, the Jetta employs a 1.4-liter inline-four engine that produces 147 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. The base S trim gets a standard six-speed manual transmission or an available eight-speed automatic gearbox that’s standard on the other trims. Fuel economy is outstanding, with an EPA-estimated rating of 30 mpg in the city and 40 mpg on the highway.*
Although the S is the base trim, it still comes with a nice list of standard features, including air conditioning, 16-inch wheels, LED headlights, power windows, power door locks, a rearview camera and cruise control, an audio system with four speakers, a USB port and Bluetooth.
Move up to the Jetta SE and you’ll get heated front seats, keyless access, a panoramic moonroof, push-button start, a dual-zone climate control system and faux leather seats. Advanced safety features that come standard include blind-spot monitoring and forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking.
The Jetta R-Line trim brings even more features to the table, including an electronic front differential, 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels and two-tone seating.
The SEL trim gets standard equipment that includes the 8-inch central touchscreen, the Digital Cockpit, leather upholstery, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, adaptive cruise control, LED projector headlights, rain-sensing wipers, lane-keeping assist and a Beats premium audio system.
The range-topping SEL Premium trim comes with heated and cooled front seats, heated rear seats, genuine leather upholstery, navigation, an eight-way power driver’s seat and a heated steering wheel.
